I am a bad blogger. Almost 2 whole months since I have written anything on here. You know, if I knew someone was reading this I would feel bad, but since I know there isn't, I dont care. So now update time. My office just got 10 kinds of awesome thanks to my wife and her creativity. She went and put the Green Lantern logo on canvas for me, that she painted HERSELF! How bad ass is this:
She is also doing the Flash, Batman and Superman logos on canvas for the office. I love it and love her, she is awesome.
In other news, the job I have is going well, I have a huge stack of comic books I'm reading and games I'm enjoying and my cats are 100 kinds of crazy. So life is normal here at casa friemoth. Will write more later, for now I have to investigate and taste-test my wife's latest sugar cookie recipe. Good life indeed.

On rain, snow and wasting time
It is raining out my office window as well as snow still on the ground. Great contrast. Its kinda weird to see but is is also pretty cool how the weather here in Ohio can change that fast. There were two big snow storms this past week and now it is 48 degrees and rain. Weather is cool. With the rain, as we all know, comes thunder, and my cat Skyy hates loud noises. So he is sitting by my feet scared out of his mind. Its funny to see him like this because he always acts tough at all times. So while I'm sitting here writing, listening to the Nerdist podcast, and watching the rain I can't help but think that I should be finishing the laundry and going to bed. I love wasting time.

Poop jokes
I'm back again for another installment. Well I have been listening to a massive amount of podcasts and found The Nerdist podcast that is hosted by Chris Hardwick that I would recommend if you like the geeky stuff. In the episode I listened to yesterday Chris was interviewing Jonathan Coulton and they tell a story of how at a con their friends came up with a game where you name movie titles and imagine they are about shitting. Now imagine doing that while at work and you can tell how my day went. A guy I work with was down for this game so we spent the day naming movie titles and laughing all day.
Here is a list of some of my favorites and remember to imagine that they are about shitting:
1. Swamp Thing
2. Attack of the killer tomatoes
3. True Grit
4. There will be blood
5. Red Dawn
So that was fun and made the day just 10 kinds of awesome. I'm also getting hired in at work and will no longer be a temp so that great. With that happening I can stop worrying about things and just work and write so hopefully I can live up to my resolution I made.

Ice storms suck
It is one day after that dreaded winter storm we recieved here in Ohio and the roads still suck and I probably will not thaw out till May or June. I am just glad I only have a short drive to work everyday and the city plowed my street. Now if I can only get my feet to feel warm then I should be ok.

A good weekend
It's now 10:10pm on Sunday night so the weekend is over. My normal work schedule has changed so now I'm able to do some writing this week so its all good. Theresa is in the living room watching tv and I'm here in my office listening to a podcast and finishing up the laundry. Wow, just looking at that sentence I have realized I lead a boring life. Well to tell the truth, I do. And this weekend was a first for me, I had the whole weekend off. So I did what I want to do, play games and watch the Packers win big. A good weekend indeed.

Grey skies and a grey life
I'm sitting here in my office and looking at the grey sky of winter and am really happy that the sky is grey and I can just sit here and exist. The grey areas in life are my most favorite parts of my life because I can be as creative as I want to be and think of anything. The bad in life just fades away when you can embrace a little grey and just exist. What brought this waxing philosophical writing on was that while at work I heard the song Touch Of Grey by The Greatful Dead. Its a great song and it got me thinking that the grey in life is not as bad as it may seem. So embrace the grey and just exist, and who knows, maybe something creative will happen.

The joys of geeking out
I"m into a game now call Fire Emblem:Shadow Dragon on my new DSi and it has been what has taken up most of my fre time outside of work. And with that being said, I have no free time any more. Between working in a lab from 11pm to 7:30am, sleeping, and playing that game, I'm lucky to find time to eat. So to say that life now is good would be an understatement. Life is awesome. 3 days into the new year and I'm loving every minute of it. Let's hope it continues. I love being a geek!
